Casino Dealer - Playseas

Conducts gaming table games such as Blackjack, Dice, Roulette, or Caribbean Stud Poker and other
related table games in the shipboard Casino by performing the following duties.

• 3 + years casino dealer experience with Blackjack, American Roulette, Baccarat and all variation poker games proficiently.
• Table game supervision skills, experience and familiarity
• Demonstrate positive attitude, responsiveness, accountability, service excellence, team-spirit
• High School diploma or GED; certification from a certified dealer school.
• Well groomed (i.e. clean, tidy and well-mannered)
• Ability to communicate tactfully with guests, department heads and shipboard employees.
• Ability to stand for an extended period of time.
• No sea sickness issues.
• Cruise Ship experience preferred.
• Show flexibility towards work duties and work shift assigned from the Casino Manager.

• Conducts all Casino table games according to conventional guidelines and procedures.
• Exchanges paper currency for playing chips or tokens and announce the exchanges.
• Participate in emergency life-saving drills and required training.
• Supervision of table games, when necessary and assisting the Casino Manager with various tasks.
• Ensures that all rules and regulations are according to conventional manner.
• Informs players of the rules and regulations as the game progresses.
• Provide assistance on slot counts and slot attendant duties (physical count and meter data collection)

Certification & Documentation Required:
1. Personal Survival Techniques STCW - Ref. A-VI/1-1, as amended 2010
2. Fire Prevention and Fire Fighting - STCW Ref. A-VI/1-2, as amended 2010
3. Elementary First Aid - STCW Ref. A-VI/1-3, as amended 2010
4. Personal, safety and social responsibilities STCW A-VI/1-4, as amended 2010
5. Crowd Management Ref. A – V/2 Par 1-3, as amended 2010
6. Security Awareness Ref. A-VI/6 -1, as amended 2010
7. Medicals Examinations (we will provide relevant forms in due time)
8. Yellow Fever vaccination + certificate
9. Valid passport at least for 1 year
10. Seaman’s Book – National or Bahamian Seaman’s Books if available
11. Visas will be announced according to assignment if needed
Qualifications and Positions:
1. Casino Dealers positions
2. All candidates be with fluent in the English language
3. 2- or 3-year Cruise ship experience
4. Dealers should be able to deal live Roulette, BlackJack, Poker Games
Salary for dealer:
The starting salary for the dealer position will be at 1,000 US to 1,400 US dollars depending on qualifications and work experience as well as interview evaluation from PlaySeas.
The salary is plus a discretionary bonus to be discussed upon the interview session.




Minimum experience and qualification requirements for position:
  • Proof of completion of Gaming Board and/or Commission approved dealer school or international equivalency.
  • Two years dealer experience conducting Blackjack, Dice, American Roulette, Caribbean Stud Poker, and various other casino games.
  • Shipboard experience is a must
